TAKEN FOR GRANTED:  People Making Decisions in US Dept. of Veterans Affairs are NOT Doing WHAT IS BEST FOR VETERANS!

After the tragedy at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, TX; which involved an ex-Air Force enlisted man (26 yr old Devin Patrick Kelley) who had a history of mental health issues, the people in charge of the US Department of Veterans Affairs have shown their Wisdom-In-Action by suggesting that doctors improve communication with veterans about the benefits of Marijuana, but without recommending it. This includes states where it is Legal.

This is the same kind of Gestapo thinking that resulted in Mr. Kelley’s horrible deeds. There is no way that the Air Force didn’t know Kelley had mental health issues; he was in their jail/prison for one year.  Those adults and children could still be alive if the US Air Force would have notified the FBI of Mr. Kelley’s issues, or given proper medical treatment to Mr. Kelley; possibly even Marijuana/CBD’s.

Research findings have just been published suggesting that CBD (Cannabidiol) is effective as an Adjunctive Therapy in Schizophrenia; you can check out The American Journal of Psychiatry online if you want more details.

Maybe if more of us read & wrote to our elected officials we would have fewer sorrows and longer, healthier lives shared with those we loved & lost.

Death is the end. Life is all that we can influence.

Tragedy at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, TX: Where was GOD? Concrete Steps, Mr. Obama!

My deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of those killed or injured in the First Baptist Church located in Sutherland Springs, Texas. It is my hope that they will all receive appropriate grief counseling and support during the mourning process.

That being said, if we want to avoid/prevent these types of tragedies from occurring in the future we may want to act on former US President Obama's statement to take concrete steps to address the weapons and violence in our culture/nation/world. Let's start with the Irony of Mr. Obama's statements.

If GOD is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise where is the wisdom in asking for wisdom from Him after He allowed those adults and children to be killed?

If we want to take concrete steps to prevent this type of tragedy in the future; not to mention reduce domestic violence, we might want to realistically begin dealing with the dysfunction in our system. We could begin by actively putting a halt to offshore tax fraud; said to be in the trillions of dollars. We could stop sacrificing the health and future of our children/citizens as God sacrificed Jesus; according to the story.

It's really too bad that Obama didn't ever have the chance; 8 years, or the power to do something about Health Care, Offshore Tax Havens, Unjust Tax System, etc. How many of his campaign promises did he break/keep? Hey, but at least he's set for life; way to go "Uncle Bom".

We could limit wealth to $100,000,000 per family. We could properly fund birth control while limiting children born per family; I'm number 5 out of six kids. We could provide sustainable living and working conditions for everyone; we've put men on the moon, after all. We could even give everyone equal access to health care; especially mental counseling, treatment and medication. Overall, it would be cheaper.

We could even train our people with realistic skills for actual jobs; rather than making a buck off of them and leaving them with no job and no way to pay their college debt. We could also reduce our immigrant migration to a realistic "legal" flow that keeps wages here livable, while also reducing the millions of dollars being transferred out of this country. Remember, cash must circulate in a local economy in order for that economy to thrive; it can't do that when millions of dollars are being sent back to their "home" countries.

Basically, it's like the picture above. Most of us (think  actual numbers rather than percentages), including the majority of Blacks in this country, are on the dog's level because we don't have access (money) to the services that Mr. Obama and his family enjoy; we're not able to play on their level. Mr. Obama; like all politicians before him, made promises to get elected and failed to keep most of them. Kind of reminds me of God and Jesus; they never showed up when I was being abused as a child.

So, there you are... it is up to "WE" humans; in all of our varieties (natural or unnatural) to clean and straighten out our own messes.

Remember, You are the expert on you.

Bernie bows (kow tow) to Hillary Clinton and the established order. Idgits support Hillary. We get more flunked up than before.

Trump will do what his businesses have always done... take the money and run to bankruptcy court; while pocketing millions personally, then start the whole process again.

Look beyond your limited cultural views people (beyond Democrat and Republican) and support JILL STEIN and the GREEN PARTY! If you don't, you deserve what you get.

Remember Einstein saying that you can't find a solution while using the same thinking that created the problem in the first place?

Ruling class elites... your spawn shall die, too. If you doubt this, consider how easy it is for younger generations to lose the wealth given to them. Our ecosystems are much more complex than  your accounting systems.

In the end, all of you will be as forgotten by the living as the elites of the Roman Empire.

Death comes for us all. The BIG SECRET is that there is no heaven or hell AFTER this one on Earth.

Enjoy!

Failing To Fulfill Your Potential - Simplified.

First, many of us feel unfulfilled; just ask any single parent, in many areas of our lives. Part of this is due to the limitations our culture imposes upon us.

Our institutions; government, education, finance, etc. are part of our culture. And they can become bearish brutes about "conforming to policy." So they refuse to change, and punish those who challenge the status quo ("the way we do things") or represent healthy change; whistle blowers, prophets, or true alphas (not the punitive bullies), by giving them negative labels like troublemaker, Satan, terrorist, heathen, atheist, traitor, etc.

Many of the large private businesses which exist today received financial backing from our government. Or they were able to patent the results of government funded research. Rather than pay the government/taxpaying public a return on our initial investment, the corporations are adding insult to injury by refusing to pay fair taxes on their financial earnings (offshore tax havens).

If any of us wish to feel more fulfilled in our lives; not to mention leaving a healthier planet with abundant resources for our kids, then it is very important that we reflect on our "culture" and all that it contains.

Long story short:  Everything cultural is made by humans; not handed to us by any gods. That's just a power play to usurp physical wealth from the simple masses who refuse to think about more than either Keeping Up With The Kardashians; where a guy wants to become a woman while keeping his penis, or 19 Kids and Counting; where God tells them to have more kids than they can healthfully take care of while ignoring incest & molestation.

When you're dead, you're dead; no amusement parks after Earth. So keep on ignoring natural resources; your grandkids won't be singing praises to your name, they'll be cursing you for not doing something more than praying when you had the chance.

ARE YOU FAILING TO FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL?

Did you know that a great many of our private mega-corporations were publicly funded? Would you like to know when we’re going to receive our cut?

As I was scanning news articles the other day I came across an article on alternet.org written about Noam Chomsky; for any of you unfamiliar with him I’ll just say that he can offer you a more objective and ethical view of what is transpiring in this country and our world.

The article was written by Alexandra Rosenmann on May 20, 2016 and is titled “Noam Chomsky Reveals The Hypocrisies of Capitalism in the Financial Capital of the World.” Anyway, Mr. Chomsky was talking about how our financial sector is tax-funded, and that instead of giving the public (that’s us) their fair share of the profits after all these years; like they would a regular investor, they kept it for themselves. I’m thinking about the billions of dollars residing in offshore bank accounts (Microsoft, Apple, & many others) at this moment.

So I got to thinking about our institutions and what we can do to improve them. My study of modern Chinese history and the horrible consequences of their cultural revolution revealed that throwing away our entire history would be very detrimental to our future. Therefore, our best hope is to analyze and remodel the parts of our society and institutions that don’t function effectively. I needed more information about institutions.

I looked on my home bookshelf and found what I was looking for. In 1976 (reprinted in 1981) Edward T. Hall introduced the world to an amazingly stimulating book called Beyond Culture. Mr. Hall expressed the opinion; along with other great students of the human mind, that failing to fulfill one’s potential is the greatest tragedy that can befall a person. He goes on to explain that our cultures and institutions act as anchors which prevent us from fully developing as individuals and as groups.

This reminded me of a video by Alan Watts (philosopher) where he explained that the true goal of spiritual doctrines was to help people see beyond them; because they are artificial creations of humans and limit us. You can view it here in two parts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtgNjBqUVgU.
